ToggleIn this post, I’m going to write a bit benefits of selling on TpT, the income potential of being a seller, but at the end, I’m also going to share some cool information from a Google Form that I created and sent into a Facebook group that provides a lot of insightful data into the world of selling on TpT. Without further adieu, let’s begin!
How TPT works
You are probably aware of this section, but I want to take a moment to break TpT down for newbie sellers. Teachers Pay Teachers is an innovative digital platform that fundamentally changes how educators access and share educational resources. In essence, it operates like an online marketplace specifically tailored for education, where teachers from around the globe can buy and sell original teaching materials.
Here’s a simple walkthrough of how TpT works:
Upon registering, you can create educational resources to sell. In order to sell products, people do of course need to find your product, and that’s where savvy TpT sellers will use data to enhance their SEO rankings, by oftentimes using a tool like Teachers Boost 😊
Next, sellers can market their products through social media channels, YouTube, blogging, podcasting, or email marketing. This helps spread awareness to their product. Once a person finds a digital teaching product on TpT and they decide to buy the product, the seller earns a commission on what they made, which is pretty awesome.
Seller survey
Now, let’s talk about the fun part – how much does the average seller make on Teachers Pay Teachers!
So, I created a Google Form, that asks questions that provide insight into how much sellers are making on average how long they’ve been building their shop, and much more.
Also, what’s really great is that this form is anonymous, and anyone who enters information can see the others’ input data once you complete the form.
Interesting insights you can gain for this information:
- Average income for beginning TpT seller
- how much can you make on Teachers Pay Teacher per month
- How much can you make selling on Teachers Pay Teachers
