Well, not exactly. People need to find your products in order to sell them. Luckily, there’s these term called SEO.
I’m thrilled you’re reading this. My name is Elliott Zelinskas; I am a former elementary teacher, and I built Teachers Boost to help TpT sellers maximize their TpT income through SEO.

Introduction
Let’s start with the basics about SEO for TpT sellers:
What is SEO
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. In the past, when people spoke about SEO, they were exclusively referencing how to rank a webpage on Google. That topic will be included here as well; however, Teachers Pay Teachers is unique in that their marketplace also works like a search engine, where buyers search what they want and a list of relevant products is sorted by one of the key factors circled in red here:
How does SEO work
By using a ranking algorithm, Google, Teachers Pay Teachers, and other systems look for the best product that matches the searcher’s intent. The system evaluates TpT seller’s products by reading keywords in the title, product description, as well as the amount and type of ratings and reviews a product has received in order to place the best product right at the top of the list.
Network Web
In order to drive more traffic to your TpT shop, you want to make sure to do the following:
- Optimize your existing TpT products for SEO.
- Create a web of tiny touch points that helps people who are searching outside of Teachers Pay Teachers to find your products.
Have you ever searched for teaching resources outside of TpT, such as Google, and you continue to find a TpT seller’s products in different places, like Instagram, Google Images, and more? That teacher is doing an excellent job building their network web. It’s smart, it’s simple, and really adds additional clicks to your product.
The map below illustrates the network web we want to create so that eventually when other teachers search for resources they keep finding our products and think, “This seller is everywhere!”
